Blanket Fort Games is a small indie studio in upstate NY. We focus on friendly, artistic games.
Blanket Fort Games began life as actionXL, a subsidiary of a company called Kionix, which manufactured accelerometers. ActionXL's mission was to make games and applications showcasing the advanced capabilities and features of Kionix accelerometers. ActionXL made a series of motion-controlled games and apps, until it was shut down in February 2010.
Blanket Fort Games rose from the ashes of actionXL, turning a layoff into a spin-off, releasing several actionXL titles for mobile. Since then, Blanket Fort Games has been working on original games and game contract work.
